CANAL 337 Transformations: The Ritter's Room
Originally this area was separated off from the first floor of the building. There were three large windows that opened right out to the east. The previous owners initially had plans to use this room as a walk-up ice cream/frozen yogurt shop. People walking about in downtown Indy and on the canal would be able to order ice cream and it would be served to them directly through the windows. That is why we now refer to this portion of the venue as the "Ritter’s Room."
The area that was previously sanctioned off is now part of the first floor. The added space allows for larger guest counts, more food and beverage stations, and extra event seating. By merging it with the rest of the room, the first floor is much more open and has much more natural lighting. We were also able to install two sets of vertical walls that are used often by clients for escort cards and favors or embellished with décor and florals.
