PACE AWARDS 2017
Thomas Caterers of Distinction was honored to host the 2016 PACE Awards at CANAL 337. The PACE Awards are given by the Indiana Chapter of the International Live Events Association each year. The awards recognize excellence in the event industry for every aspect of planning and executing special event of all kinds. Over 100 friends, fans and colleagues came together to eat, drink, dance and celebrate. After the awards ceremony, guests were treated to an after party that featured creative and delicious stations and bars with a Country & Western Theme.
Stations: Moonshine: Grab a jug labeled with one of two types of moonshine and fill it up. The guest could choose between Lemon Drop or Blackberry Tea cocktails. These jugs could make a great addition to a silent auction or fundraiser.
Descending Dessert Station The Hanging Candy Bar was a surprise to the PACE guests. It was hanging close to the ceiling, decorated with flowers on bottom which matched the décor of the of tables food stations. When the dancing portion of the event began, the Candy Bar was lowered to hang closer to the ground for guest to take a tasty treat! If you look closely at the corner of the Candy Bar, you will see the cords used to hold and lower the bar. Wouldn’t a hanging bar surprise the guest at your wedding reception?

Bloody Mary Crisps:
Homemade Saltine Crisps with Bloody Mary Jam, topped with Pickled Shrimp, and Vodka Celery Salad, garnished with Fresh Dill and Flake Sea Salt.
