I just wanted to thank you both for everything you did for Phil and I on our wedding day and everything prior as well. You both were so patient with me. I know I asked a million questions, but you both answered everything and showed a great deal of patience and professionalism throughout the entire 365+ days. Phil and I had the best day of our lives, and we are extremely grateful to have had our reception at Canal 337. The venue was absolutely beautiful and all we hoped it would be. The staff was friendly, polite, and extremely service-oriented. Our guests complemented your venue over and over again... some are still commenting. Thank you again!

This was exactly what are goal was, so we could not be happier! We both also had so much fun and wanted it to go longer! I just wanted to thank you SO MUCH for all you did!  Our wedding was absolutely amazing and we got so many compliments on both the food and the venue - even my stodgy old grandpa who complains about everything commented that his steak was "pretty good", which is something I've NEVER heard out of his mouth! The day was just beautiful and you were both a huge part of making that happen...all the details were absolutely perfect - the colors on the popcorn topping buckets, the trays the hors d'oeuvres were served on, the cotton candy..pretty much everything was incredible. Chris and I are so so grateful to both of you and to Thomas for providing such an amazing venue and culinary experience! Thank you a million times over!  :)

 

 

 

Everything was just wonderful! The space was beautiful, you were both so pleasant to work with, and the food was unbelievable. We had SO MANY comments on the food at dinner, I’ve not experienced anything like that before with these events. It was everything we’d hoped for.

 

 

 

Thank you for everything.  You were great to work with throughout the planning process – you were always quick to respond to emails or calls and your attention to detail was very much appreciated. We received several comments from guests complimenting us on the venue and event overall.  I would definitely recommend Canal 337 to anyone looking to host an event in Indianapolis and will definitely be in touch next time we’re in town.

 

 

 

Oh my goodness --- where do I begin?! Thank you, thank you, thank you for helping put on an amazing event last night. I have received multiple emails, texts, tweets saying how much everyone loved the event, specifically the food. The carrot soufflé was a hit! Dave did an amazing job, and I greatly appreciate your team’s flexibility with last-minute changes, and topnotch customer service. Todd the bartender did a fantastic job making sure everyone’s spirits were in check, including the Slingshot cocktail. This past weekend we had our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding at Canal 337 with Thomas catering.  Kelly, the manager for Canal 337, was amazing!  From the start of the planning to the day of the wedding we couldn't have asked for a more attentive, interested and professional person. She was always available to answer questions no matter how big or small.  As far as Thomas catering, we can’t thank Dee enough for all she did. We had three guests with celiac disease and one who is allergic to sesame and peanuts. The owner and chef were exceptional at answering our questions and concerns before hand so we had no worries. Everyone enjoyed a great meal.

 

When the bride and groom, first picked Canal 337 it was under construction. They were able to have a vision of exclusivity in this rare historic building. In addition, what the people from Canal 337 said it would look like, how it would be set up and how the uniqueness would add to the events charm, were right on target. We were at a recent wedding in an exclusive hotel ballroom and it felt like being at a prom compared to the superior characteristics of Canal 337. Once you see first hand you’ll be convinced this exceptional space will make your wedding or event a more memorable day.

 

The venue itself is beautiful. With views of the canal, the grounds outside, and the amazing large wooden thick castle like doors with brick facade. Inside has a distinctiveness that will rival any reception venue with the cathedral ceilings, wooded beams and the stain glass windows. The two floors added an irreplaceable characteristic to this venue. This venue is just amazing!

 

When our guests first arrived the downstairs was set up as a reception area where hors d’oeuvres & drinks were served and our guests gathered. Once the Bride and Groom arrived we moved upstairs to have dinner, cake and the first dance. Then, after dinner, everyone moved downstairs for dancing and a relaxing patio area for those who wanted to talk. The window allowed everyone to see what was happening whether you were inside or out.  Oh and we can’t forget the locked rooms for the bride and groom that kept their personal items secure. We cannot begin to tell you how fantastic Canal 337 and Thomas catering is.  Highly recommend! -Mother of Groom

 

 

 

Thank you again for everything leading up to and during Monday's event. The clients were quite happy and the guests had a wonderful time. Almost everyone who left stopped to let me know how great the space is and that the food was amazing. To quote, "this is the best event I've attended in my 7 years going to IAFP"
